"readymade" referring to the every day objects that aren't usually
considered are but are art in the eyes of the artist himself such as the
bottlerack made in 1914. Duchamp
influenced modern artists such as Andy Warhol who sort of took
the idea of readymades and instead made paintings from them. Warhol took the
concept of every day objects or people and made them into paintings that people
would easily recognize such as the Campbell's Tomato soup can. Duchamp also
inspired Warhol's work in Pop art, using pop culture images merged together in
an unconventional way[…]
